NEW ORLEANS, LA (WolfeLaw) August 1, 2008 — Today, Wolfe Law Group launched its new mobile website, http://m.wolfelaw.com.

The mobile site is designed for viewing on mobile devices like the iPhone, Blackberry and more. From the mobile page, users can read the Wolfe Law Group blog, leave a public comment or instantly call our offices.

Speaking about the new mobile page, Scott Wolfe, Jr., founding member of the firm, stated as follows:

Our goal was to give those contractors out in the field an easy way to read up on construction law issues and contact a construction attorney while on-the-go.  More contractors than ever are using mobile phones out in the field, and access to this type of information on-the-go is becoming as necessary as general online access.

The new mobile page is another way the firm is maintaining its position as one of the more progressive law firm websites in the country.

Day Spent Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity

Friday, April 11th, 2008

As part of its Community Initiative, Wolfe Law Group spent an April day with the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity, helping construct a New Orleans home with the Bench & Bar Project.

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WolfeLaw) April 11, 2008 — As part of its Community Initiative, Wolfe Law Group closed its doors on Friday, April 11, 2008, and spent the day volunteering with the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity.

Swinging hammers at a traditional New Orleans shotgun single on Eagle Street in-between uptown and mid-city, members of the firm spent the day helping construct Cherie LeBlanc’s future home. The home and project was featured on Bravo’s Make Me A Supermodel.

The 3525 Eagle Street project is part of the United States Eastern District Court’s Bench & Bar Project, whereby attorneys, judges and other members of the legal community come together to build the home. The project is organized to coincide with Jimmy & Rosealynn Carter’s Work Project.

The organized “Volunteer Day” is part of Wolfe Law Group’s Community Initiative.  Each month, the firm takes off work for one Friday to volunteer with the local community.

The Community Initiative was started in December 2007, when we closed the office to wrap Christmas gifts for low income children through Seattle’s Forgotten Childrens’ Fund.
