No Need To Become A Fan…Just “Like” Us

Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

When I logged onto the Wolfe Law Group page on Facebook this morning, I was greeted with a message that the page would no longer have “fans,” but instead would invite users to “like” our practice. It’s an effort to be more “lightweight” to users, and hopefully, increase a pages fan base. It just might work too.

Before logging into our admin page, I stumbled upon another businesses FB page and saw the “become a fan” button replaced with “like.”. It confused me for a few seconds, but then I just passed it off as someone knowing a little more than me about Facebook, and knowing how to change the call to action on the fan pages.

Low and behold the change was made on my page, too…and system wide.

With all of this said, let’s take this Facebook change our for a spin. No need to become a fanatic for Wolfe Law Group or anything. After all, we’re just a law firm. Borrrr-ing.

But, you can at least like what we do, eh? That ain’t so hard.

WLG officially has 100 fans on Facebook!

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our fans (and throw out some nerdy Oscar trivia), and so we present to you our Thank You speech:

We’d like to thank the Maharishi. We love you, man… Everybody, we love you! We can’t deny that fact that you like us, right now, you like us! Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto.*

All joking aside, we thank you for your support and your interest in what we do. We hope to continue growing our fan base and Facebook presence, and of course, to continue sharing it all with you.

Check us out on Facebook here.

*Can you name the 4 Oscar winners whose speeches we referenced?

If you will be in (or near) Seattle on September 5th please join us for some Kickoff-to-college-football-season tailgating!

Check out the Facebook invitation here.

Oscar Undergoes Knee Surgery

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

oscar surgeryOur favorite hound is taking a few weeks off his greeting duties to tend to a wounded knee that underwent surgery this past weekend.

Oscar has the puppy equivalent of a torn ACL, most likely caused by over-exerting himself on squirrel chases through Audubon Park.

While sad about being out of the office, doctors promise that his knee will be as good as new within a few weeks.

Learn more about Oscar by reading his bio on the Wolfe Law Group website, or by visiting his Facebook page here.

Curious About Our Work? We Let You Take A Look

Thursday, November 27th, 2008

Deciding on an attorney to represent your company is a difficult and important choice. Unfortunately, organizations must often face this decision blind, without ever seeing that attorney in the courtroom or reading documents and arguments prepared by his or her office.

An online service from JD Supra aims at making law firms and attorneys more transparent, and Wolfe Law Group is pleased to announce its profile on JD Supra.

Our firm is so confident in our services that we’re happy to provide our clients, prospective clients and other attorneys with samples of our work. Each week, we’re posting new court documents to our JD Supra profile for anyone to download and view, along with important construction forms and articles about construction law issues.

Scott Wolfe, founding member of Wolfe Law Group, commented on the firm’s new online profile:

JDSupra’s service is really revolutionary.  Most every court pleading is public record, yet until now the work of law firms has been kept behind closed doors.  Businesses simply had to assume that their attorneys were adequately representing them.  JD Supra brings some transparency to a very closed-in profession.

All documents posted to JDSupra is accessible by subscribing to the  JD Supra RSS Feed, as well as at our JD Supra profile or our Facebook page.  Not only will the firm be posting legal pleadings through the service, but we will also use JD Supra to host the many construction forms that we provide to clients at no charge on our firm’s Resource page and Construction Law Monitor blog.
