Firm Takes New Office Photos

Wednesday, June 24th, 2009

While everyone from Seattle was in the Crescent City for Doug & Jess’ April wedding, we put aside some time to take new group photos.   We tried to keep things a bit more casual with these shots, and think they came out okay.  We’ll be incorporating them into our websites over the next few weeks.

Take a look at the photos on the Picasa Web Album here.  You can also view more Wolfe Law Group photos at our general web gallery.

Boarding Up and Getting Out

Monday, September 1st, 2008

In preparation for Hurricane Gustav, like so many other New Orleans’ businesses, Wolfe Law Group boarded up its office and evacuated across the country. So you can see our diggs outfitted with plywood, we put up some photographs of the preparations on our company Photo Album.

Day Spent Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity

Friday, April 11th, 2008

As part of its Community Initiative, Wolfe Law Group spent an April day with the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity, helping construct a New Orleans home with the Bench & Bar Project.

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WolfeLaw) April 11, 2008 — As part of its Community Initiative, Wolfe Law Group closed its doors on Friday, April 11, 2008, and spent the day volunteering with the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity.

Swinging hammers at a traditional New Orleans shotgun single on Eagle Street in-between uptown and mid-city, members of the firm spent the day helping construct Cherie LeBlanc’s future home. The home and project was featured on Bravo’s Make Me A Supermodel.

The 3525 Eagle Street project is part of the United States Eastern District Court’s Bench & Bar Project, whereby attorneys, judges and other members of the legal community come together to build the home. The project is organized to coincide with Jimmy & Rosealynn Carter’s Work Project.

The organized “Volunteer Day” is part of Wolfe Law Group’s Community Initiative.  Each month, the firm takes off work for one Friday to volunteer with the local community.

The Community Initiative was started in December 2007, when we closed the office to wrap Christmas gifts for low income children through Seattle’s Forgotten Childrens’ Fund.
